Recycled in a lifecycle

If only I had the strength

To remember the goodness

That lurks in me

I need the help to protect

The kindness that waits in me

When dreams are shattered away

The rage of inability reigns

If only I had the wisdom

To pick up the broken pieces

And recycle the soul

To live as if I today was born.

I am glad if this poem is of help to you! I wrote it in 2009 and to this day, I haven’t quite figured out how “to live as if I today was born.” :)
