When the emotional pain is at its most

The voice enables it

To be freed away.

 

“Go ahead, scream!”, the voice says

The high pitch pierces the air

And yet, the pain is still inside.

 

Disillusioned, the eyes gaze away

Stumbling upon another pair of eyes

Empathetically connected to the pain.
